Halloween is not complete without a sweet treat, these fun-bite-sized bat shaped brownies are sure to fly off the plate at your next Halloween party. This recipe is so simple, and I mean that. If you need a sweet fix for the month of October these bats will do the job. What is not to love when you combined brownies and Oreos? It’s everything you ever wanted in one dessert, my favorite part of this recipe savoring EVERY last bite! These almost too cute to eat brownie truffle bats are sure to be fang-tastic.
Have a Happy and safe Halloween!!
Brownie Truffle Bats Recipe
1 13-X-9″ PAN BROWNIE, BAKED AND COOLED
1-2 TABLESPOONS CHOCOLATE FROSTING
10 OREO COOKIES, HAVLED AND STUFFING REMOVED
10oz CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CONTAINER MINI M&M’S
1 CUP CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES (OPTIONAL)
1. In a large bowl crumble brownie by hand. Mix in chocolate frosting and knead until moistened.
2. Using cookie scoop, or ½ tablespoon, portion out brownie frosting mixture and roll into small balls. Insert two halved Oreo cookies on either side to create a wing. Place on baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 20 minutes or until firm.
3. Remove from freezer and let stand for 10 minutes. Heat chocolate chips and place in decorating bag, a baggy works just as well. Begin drizzling chocolate over the bats. Decorate with mini m&m’s for eyes and sprinkles for more decoration. ENJOY!
